Case Interview Workshop
Looking to break into management consulting, but not sure how to tackle the case interview? PGCC is here to help!
PGCC is hosting a free case workshop for all non-MBA graduate students of Penn. Join us on July 18th, 6-8 PM at Jon M. Huntsman Hall Room F92 and learn how to approach case questions with frameworks, get hands on group work on solving practice cases, and receive feedback on your work.
The workshop will be presented by former PGCC and PBG co-president Caiyue Xu (PhD candidate in CAMB, incoming Consultant at L.E.K.). Dinner will be provided.

Penn Graduate Consulting Club (PGCC) is partnering with Career Services to help you get your resume into shape prior to these deadlines.
BCG has created an excellent webinar specifically around how PhD students can convert their CV into a resume for consulting firms. PGCC Executive Board - Call for Applications
The Penn Graduate Consulting Club (PGCC) is now recruiting e-board members. We invite all UPenn non-MBA graduate students and post-doctoral researchers to apply to the PGCC e-board.
The mission of PGCC is to provide non-MBA graduate students and postdoctoral researchers with opportunities to learn about consulting careers and to prepare for careers in consulting. The 2019-2020 PGCC e-board will set the agenda for the upcoming year and will host several events to help members connect with the consulting world, including the annual PGCC Case Competition, professional workshops, information sessions, social events, and pro bono consulting projects.
If you have ideas about how to better serve the PGCC community, we strongly encourage you to apply to be on the e-board! (If you are not on campus for the summer, we still invite you to apply - there will be some light work planning a few summer events but the majority of the e-board’s responsibilities will fall during the academic year.)

VP for Business Development & Consulting
- Work with startup companies and local businesses to develop consulting projects
- Staff projects with qualified team members, project managers, and project directors
- Lead training sessions for team members and for project managers and project directors to ensure teams have the skills to successfully complete a project
- Initiate and maintain relationships with startup companies and local businesses
VP for Career Development
- Organize consulting workshops, information sessions, and career panels for PGCC members
- Organize case interview practice sessions
- Initiate and maintain relationships with consulting firms
VP for Alumni Relations
- Create and maintain an alumni database
- Perform alumni outreach to facilitate speaker series and to host networking events between alumni and current club members
VP for Social & Student Engagement
- Organize networking events for club members and internal team building events
- Manage catering contract and venue reservation for social events
- Track and increase attendance at PGCC events
VP for Finance
- Collect and submit reimbursements for club expenses and events in a timely manner
- Track club finances and provide the board with monthly balance updates
- Form and maintain relationships with companies interested in sponsoring PGCC events
- Form and maintain sponsorships with GAPSA and schools within Penn
- Increase overall sponsorship in PGCC
VP for Communication
- Send out weekly emails about upcoming events and opportunities
- Promptly respond to general inquiries directed to the PGCC email address
- Manage the PGCC website
- Maintain PGCC’s social media presence (Facebook, LinkedIn)

2019 PGCC Case Competition
PGCC is hosting its 6th annual PGCC Case Competition on Friday April 26, 2019 at the University of Pennsylvania. This event is an opportunity for advanced degree candidates from top universities to critically analyze a business problem and design creative solutions in a realistic environment. 2019 Case Competition Coffee Chat
Are you interested in competing in the 2019 PGCC Case Competition but need a team? Then come to this coffee chat event to find other individuals to form a team with! This is a great chance to meet other graduate students with a similar interest in consulting, so we recommend that you take advantage of this networking opportunity. At last year's coffee chat, four teams were formed to compete in the 2018 PGCC Case Competition.
Members of the PGCC E-board will be in attendance to answer any questions you may have about the 2019 PGCC Case Competition.
